Dr. Amy Javernick-Will is an Associate Professor and Nicholas R. and Nancy D. Petry Professor in Construction Engineering and Management at the University of Colorado Boulder’s Department of Civil, Environmental and Architectural Engineering. Prior to entering academia, Amy worked for over six years in the construction and real estate development industry as a design-build project manager.
Amy’s research group seeks to improve lives through socially sustainable infrastructure. She conducts research on disaster recovery and resiliency planning; global organizational management and knowledge management; sustainable WASH systems; and engineering education.
Amy is an Associate Editor of Construction Management and Economics, Associate Director for Graduate Education and Research at the Mortenson Center for Engineering in Developing Communities, and committee member for the National Academy of Engineering (NAE) panel on understanding the engineering education to workforce continuum.
